Support and Information for people Hearing Voices and people who Self-harm

What is Time and Space

Time and Space is a unique service in Glasgow offering support and information to people who hear voices and people who self-harm and their supporters.

We believe that it is possible to find a way to manage and live with your experiences.

We offer therapeutic groups, one to one support and counselling.

Our Story

Founded in 2011 by Elaine and Lindsey to provide extra support and a space to explore experiences that often not spoken about. Our aim is to provide a safe space for members to explore their experience and find new ways to cope. We currently offer group support, one to one support and counselling to members.

Aims

-Raise awareness of voice hearing, visions, tactile sensations and other sensory experiences and self harm.

-Give people who have these experiences an opportunity to talk freely about this together.

-Support anyone with these experiences seeking to understand, learn and grow from them in their own way.

-Inform and support the families of those who hear voices and those who self harm.

How we achieve these aims

-Promoting, developing and supporting our client led support groups.

-Organizing and delivering training sessions

-Making available information and support : to people who experience hearing voices, visions and tactile sensations and/or self harm and to family members who are supporting voice hearers or those who self harm.

-Give people who have these experiences an opportunity to talk freely about them.
